To help support the work of the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP Board a range of sub-groups are in the process of being created. Here is a list of the sub-groups that will be created by the LEP:

• Science Innovation and Industry Council – Members recruited and first meeting due in April
• Skills Strategy Group – First workshop due in March
• CleanTech Group – First meeting to take place soon
• Third Sector Group – First workshop took place in February, more meetings to follow
• Funding
• Economic vision, planning, housing and infrastructure
• Environment – discussions underway
• Supporting high growth potential companies
• Banking and access to finance – discussions with potential members underway
• Responding to economic shocks
• Business representatives groups
• Rural areas group - discussions underway
• Cambridge area group – First meeting has taken place
• Food and drink
• Visitor economy

Each sub-group is championed by a LEP Board member and supported by a member of the LEP team, as well as support provided from a range of other organisations including the University of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce and UKCEED.
