Board
The Greater Cambridgeshire Greater Peterborough Shadow Board comprises one business Chairman, six further business representatives from a range of locations and backgrounds, five local authority representatives, one education representative and one voluntary sector/ social enterprise representative.
Neville Reyner CBE DL was appointed as the first Chair of the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Local Enterprise Partnership and took up his role on 1st March 2011. We then proceeded to recruit the remaining 13 members of the Board as follows:

- Professor Mike Thorne PhD - Vice Chancellor of Anglia Ruskin University
- Dr Lynn Morgan - CEO of the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity
- Allan Arnott OBE - Operations Director at Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division
- Professor Sir Richard Friend FRS FREng- Experienced businessman and Cavendish Professor of Physics at the University of Cambridge
- Mark Reeve - Managing Director of Chalcroft (Construction), King’s Lynn
- Trevor Ellis - Chairman of CS Ellis Group (Haulage), Rutland
- John Bridge OBE - Chief Executive of the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce
- Dr Robert Swann – Entrepreneur specialising in technology and high-tech start up companies
- Cllr Nick Clarke - Leader of Cambridgeshire County Council
- Cllr Sian Reid - Leader of Cambridge City Council
- Cllr Marco Cereste - Leader of Peterborough City Council
- Cllr Terry King - Deputy Leader at Rutland County Council
- Cllr Jason Ablewhite - Huntingdonshire District Council
